Monero transaction fee

As of June 17, 2026, Monero native transfer fee USD is $0.0415 at the median (p50, 24h window), with $0.1684 at p90 and $0.1702 at p99. Monero ranks #19 of 20 chains measured on this benchmark.

Monero native transfer fee is $0.0415 (p50, 24h). Monero uses RingCT transactions with a dynamic block-size penalty: a 1-input 2-output transfer is roughly 1500 bytes, and the per-byte rate from `get_fee_estimate` rises sharply when miners are filling blocks above the median size. The fee covers both anonymity-set inflation and ring-signature footprint, which is why XMR fees sit above most L1s. Computed via the daemon's three-tier `get_fee_estimate` times 1500 bytes times XMR price.
