Solana DEX volume: pump.fun vs Axiom vs GMGN vs Fomo, live 24h

Live 24-hour trading volume and protocol revenue for the top Solana DEX platforms. Updated every 30 minutes from DeFiLlama. The fee column shows what each protocol earns, not what users pay in gas.

TL;DR. As of , GMGN leads 24h volume at $90.20M (24h) on Solana DEX volume: pump.fun vs Axiom vs GMGN vs Fomo, live 24h. Source: OpenChainBench, https://openchainbench.com/benchmarks/solana-dex-volume.

Read this carefully

Volume and revenue data sourced from DeFiLlama's DEX and fees APIs. DeFiLlama attributes volume via on-chain referral tags and program IDs; platforms without standard tags may be undercounted. Figures are 24-hour and 7-day rolling totals updated every 30 minutes. Revenue uses DeFiLlama's dailyRevenue dataType, stripping LP fees. Terminal volume (Axiom, GMGN, Fomo) and launchpad volume (pump.fun) use different attribution methods and are not directly additive.

The Solana DEX market in summer 2026 is split between pump.fun's launchpad, which dominates early-stage token trading, and a set of competing terminals (Axiom, GMGN, Fomo) targeting active traders on graduated tokens. pump.fun cut its bonding-curve trading fees to zero on August 7 2026, one day after Fomo briefly overtook Axiom in daily revenue. The timing is consistent with a competitive response, though pump.fun has not formally confirmed causality. Axiom and GMGN each process around $70 million per day in terminal volume. Fomo reached $50 million daily volume and crossed Axiom on revenue for the first time on August 6 2026. This benchmark tracks all seven platforms in real time from DeFiLlama's DEX data feed, refreshed every 30 minutes.

Methodology

The harness polls DeFiLlama's public DEX API (api.llama.fi/summary/dexs/{slug}) and fees API (api.llama.fi/summary/fees/{slug}?dataType=dailyRevenue) every 30 minutes for each tracked platform. No API key is required. DeFiLlama attributes swap volume using on-chain referral tags and program IDs embedded in transactions. The harness exposes six Prometheus gauges per platform: defillama_dex_volume_24h_usd, defillama_dex_volume_7d_usd, defillama_dex_fees_24h_usd, defillama_dex_fees_7d_usd, defillama_dex_take_rate and defillama_dex_health.

Frequently asked

Why is PumpSwap not tracked here?

PumpSwap is pump.fun's backend AMM where tokens trade after graduating from the bonding curve. It is excluded because its volume overlaps with the terminal volume already tracked: when Axiom, GMGN or Fomo routes a swap to PumpSwap, that trade appears in both the terminal's DeFiLlama figures and PumpSwap's. Including PumpSwap alongside the terminals would double-count that activity and distort the comparison. The bench tracks platforms where users go directly to trade, not the underlying AMM they route through.

What is Fomo?

Fomo (fomo.family) is a Solana trading platform and wallet launched in April 2025 by a team backed by Index Ventures and USV. It charges 0.5% on routed swaps and briefly led Solana daily DEX revenue on August 6 2026, overtaking Axiom for the first time.

Why did pump.fun cut its fees to zero?

On August 6 2026, Fomo briefly overtook Axiom in daily protocol revenue. pump.fun eliminated bonding-curve trading fees the following day. The back-to-back timing is consistent with a competitive response to frontend terminals gaining share, though pump.fun has not publicly confirmed that causal link. Bonding-curve trading continues under the fee-free model; protocol revenue now comes from token graduation fees and creator fees.

Why is Phantom not tracked here?

Phantom is the largest Solana wallet by user count but it routes swaps through aggregators like Jupiter rather than operating its own DEX contract. DeFiLlama does not assign Phantom a DEX slug because its on-chain footprint is the aggregator's, not Phantom's. Those swaps appear in Jupiter's figures. This bench tracks the platforms that DeFiLlama can attribute volume to directly.

How is this different from the Solana trading platform leaderboard (bench 201)?

Bench 201 uses Mobula's lighthouse API to attribute swaps to the frontend UI (GMGN, Axiom, Fomo, etc.). This bench uses DeFiLlama's protocol-level DEX data. The two sources diverge significantly in practice: on Aug 13 2026 Mobula ranked GMGN ($108M) ahead of Axiom ($94M) while DeFiLlama fees put Axiom 5x above GMGN. Attribution breadth differs because Mobula includes trades where the platform's referral tag is present regardless of fee collection, while DeFiLlama tracks fee-wallet inflows. Neither is wrong; they measure different populations.

Why does Photon show less volume than GMGN and Axiom?

Photon targets advanced traders and has a smaller but higher-frequency user base. Volume varies by day and market conditions. DeFiLlama attribution may also undercount platforms that do not embed standard on-chain referral tags.

What is the take rate and why does it matter?

The take rate is protocol revenue divided by trading volume. It shows how much of each dollar traded the platform keeps. pump.fun has a high take rate because it earns creator fees, graduation fees and protocol fees across the token lifecycle. Terminals like Axiom, GMGN and Fomo earn a routing fee on each swap. Comparing take rates reveals which platforms extract more value per dollar of activity.
