Trading app daily volume 2026: GMGN, Axiom, FOMO, Terminal, Photon, Trojan by UTC day, every chain

Swap volume routed through each trading app or Telegram bot per closed UTC day, summed over every chain the app runs on (Solana, BSC, Base, Ethereum, Robinhood Chain, Monad and more), from the same DeFiLlama day buckets defillama.com shows. 14 apps, per-chain breakdown, 7 and 30 day totals, share of the cohort, daily history.

TL;DR. As of , FOMO leads daily volume at $113.70M (24h) on Trading app daily volume 2026: GMGN, Axiom, FOMO, Terminal, Photon, Trojan by UTC day, every chain. Source: OpenChainBench, https://openchainbench.com/benchmarks/trading-app-daily-volume.

Read this carefully

Volume is what each app's DeFiLlama adapter attributes to the app (fee wallet, referral tag or router contract, adapter by adapter) and counted per UTC day. Scope is whatever chains the adapter covers: FOMO is Solana only on DeFiLlama, GMGN spans ten chains. The last closed day can be restated by DeFiLlama for about a day; the harness re-reads the full series every hour.

A trading app is a router: it does not settle trades, it sends them to pump.fun, Raydium, PancakeSwap or a Robinhood Chain pool and takes a fee on the way. So the number that ranks trading apps is routed swap volume, and it only means something when every chain the app runs on is counted. GMGN moves most of its volume on Robinhood Chain and BSC now, not Solana; Axiom is a fifth Robinhood Chain; Terminal runs on four chains. A Solana-only table (bench 208) misses that. This benchmark rebuilds each app's daily volume from DeFiLlama's dexs adapters for the Trading App and Telegram Bot categories, the open-source per-chain attributions defillama.com shows, on closed UTC days, and keeps a year of daily points per app with the per-chain split. Rolling 24 hour figures are not comparable across apps (every window ends at a different second); closed UTC days are what "X flipped Y" claims are made on.

Methodology

The harness reads DeFiLlama's free dexs summary for each app (/summary/dexs/<slug>?dataType=dailyVolume) once an hour: totalDataChart gives the daily USD volume and totalDataChartBreakdown the per-chain split, both on UTC day buckets. The current (open) UTC day is dropped, the last 400 closed days are kept, and the series is re-read in full so restated days are picked up. The headline is the last closed day; 7 and 30 day sums are published only when every day of the window is present. Share is the app's volume over the cohort total on the same window. The public JSON (kv.openchainbench.com/aggregate/trading-apps/history.json) carries the daily series and chain split per app and feeds the /trading-apps chart and each app's product page.

Frequently asked

Why does this differ from the Dune-based trading platform bench?

Bench 208 reads one Dune community dataset per platform, and those datasets cover Solana only for FOMO, Trojan and Photon but every chain for GMGN, Axiom and Terminal, so its rows are not on the same footing. This bench reads DeFiLlama's dexs adapters, which are cross-chain by construction and expose the per-chain split, so every row is the app's total. The two also attribute swaps differently (fee-wallet detection on Dune, adapter logic on DeFiLlama), so day-level figures do not match.

Is FOMO really Solana only?

No, and the chain label is the misleading part. FOMO holds user balances on Solana and routes trades on other chains through Relay, so DeFiLlama's adapter measures everything on Solana: native swaps (FOMO fee transfers in FOMO-sponsored transactions) plus cross-chain buys (sponsored USDC deposits into the Relay depository) and sells (USDC fills from Relay solvers), each trade counted once. The row is FOMO's total; the per-chain split cannot show destination chains because the adapter does not label them. The Dune dataset behind bench 208 counts native Solana swaps only, which is why it reads about five times lower.

Why closed UTC days and not the last 24 hours?

A rolling window ends at a different second for every app, so two apps' 24h figures never cover the same period. Closed UTC days are the convention DeFiLlama, Dune dashboards and the apps' own reports use, and the unit flip claims are made in.

How current is it?

The headline is yesterday (UTC). The harness re-reads every hour; DeFiLlama restates the last day for about a day, so the figure for yesterday can move slightly until tomorrow.
